Do you remember it wasn’t that long ago when the common response to “How are you?” , was “Good, just busy…” the life we had before the epic 2020 year came and left us in an unraveled form of uncertainty? Today we are “Tired”, not busy, but TIRED.

We are TIRED Physically working too hard to keep up, emotionally drained and overtaxed, spiritually undernourished and holistically heavy with the burdens of the world that can just wear us down and burn us hot.

This is not the life God has purposed for us to experience. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.He came so that we could have life, and life more abundantly. Not more stuff, things are burdens to bear for his, for His yoke is easy and his burden is light. So let us take His yoke upon us and learn from Him, for He is gently and humble in heart and we will find rest for our souls. Matthew 11:29

“So take a new grip with your tired hands and stand firm on your shaky legs. Mark out a straight path for your feet. Then those who follow you, though they are weak and lame, will not stumble and fall, but will become strong.” Heb 12:12. Let us not become weary in doing good for and due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up, for they that run shall not become weary and that walk should not faint, teach us Lord, teach us Lord to wait. In the waiting we become weary and tired not from the doing but from the being in a place of unrest!

And so, “Since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be destroyed, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. For our God is a consuming fire.” Heb 12:28 The time is now to awaken our souls and become worshippers. For let us become “tired” in the doing of worship and gratitude, the giving and growing of ourselves in the tests of adversity if we do not give up we will receive all the promises of God, which are YES and AMEN!

I believe our tiredness and unrest in our new world is the unsettling, the unease of life as we knew it. Yes, life is taking on a new form and shape for many of our realities, but the foundation of hope, faith and love will always keep us grounded and growing. Practically this starts with:

1. Movement that is simple and recharging not just for the body but for the soul.

2. A mindset of worship, not finding what is wrong but FOCUSING on what is right, good and pleasing to our mind, body and soul.

3. Methods that move us forward in our health and healing for a holistic life of abundance and purpose.

May you shut the mouths of lions, quench the flames of fire, escape death by the edge of the sword to that your weakness may be turned to strength, stong in battle and putting whole armies to flight. May the Women, receive their loved one back again from the ‘dead’. Heb 11:33-35
